Birch
Plywood
Most of our work is fabricated from baltic birch plywood, a
high quality plywood which is durable and stable.
Baltic birch plywood is the best choice for us because of the small
quantity of glue needed in the actual panels. This creates a much lighter
environmental footprint as compared to MDF, particleboard, or other
engineered wood materials.
We
maximize our yield as much as possible to reduce waste, and reuse scrap
material for small parts.
Water
Based Clearcoat Finish
All
our components are finished in a clear, GreenGuard
Certified water based finish. This creates a durable, water-proof
finish that can be wiped clean very easily.
A GreenGuard Certification means that the finish has been tested to
be low-emission, and improve public health and quality of life by improving
our indoor air.

Paint
We use water based interior wall
paints
for all our colors.
Painting is done to add contrast and interest to our pieces, but all
furniture is available in a clear finish, fully painted, or any combination.
